The other three, under the heading of “Three Brautigans,” are by Richard Brautigan. They include “Haiku Ambulance,” “Homage to the Japanese Haiku Poet Issa,” and “Strawberry Haiku.” What is it about Issa? He’s always prompting tributes, perhaps more than other Japanese haiku masters put together. Here’s another one of them, short and sweet.
