It’s been a while since I added something new to the Sequences page, but I’ve just done exactly that, and just in time for the Christmas season. It’s “Angels We Have Heard On High,” a short set of haiku that first appeared in Frogpond back in 1995. Two additional winter poems tag along for the ride. But wait, there’s more. One of the two additional poems won second prize in the 1995 Henderson haiku awards, sponsored by the Haiku Society of America. On the Interviews page (because that’s where it seems to fit best) is a link to “Toll Booth Lit for Christmas,” complete with brief commentary by the contest’s two judges. Enjoy!
