Two Poems, a Postscript, a Video, and an Introduction

New on the Poems by Others page is Tennyson’s “Ring Out, Wild Bells,” written in 1850 but remarkably apropos to Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021 (with one little editorial revision). On the Essays page, at “Arriving Geese: Learning from Shugyō Takaha,” I’ve added a second new postscript. On the Poems About Haiku page, look for “Stopping by Wakan’s on a Sunny Day” by Winona Baker, a wonderful tribute, after Robert Frost, to the Gabriola haiku weekends I used to attend. On the Introductions page you can now find “An Urge to Sing,” my introduction to Margaret Chula’s new tanka collection, Perigee Moon. There’s also a new video recording of my Ghost Town Poetry Night Zoom reading from 11 February 2021, just added to the Videos page. And several additions to my Appearances page too.
