Poem to Be Entitled Five Haiku

by William J. Higginson

attentive cat

these flies circling

the bored cat

lifts

one paw and watches

the buzzing fly

the cat

(is surely a god

to this fly)

varies his diet

with a fly

on the linoleum

the green glint

of thorax
