Blocked by Clouds

spring tide

       slowly lifting

              coastal fog

summer sun . . .

       the only parkbench

              wet with paint

dark mud . . .

       slipping into clouds

              autumn moon

winter fog . . .

       into the golden gate

              half a bridge

my lover’s smile

       blocked by clouds

              distant mountain
