Tokyo Traffic Culture Exhibition

Since 2018, I have worked with Emiko Miyashita to translate winning haiku and the judge’s commentary (by Kai Hasegawa) for the annual Japan-wide Traffic Culture Exhibition, with results displayed at Ueno Station in Tokyo. Exhibition dates have typically been in mid to late October or early November each year. For 2018 we also translated content related to the exhibit’s photography components, including titles, descriptions, and commentary from the judges, and also translated “A History of the Sakuryōkai Exhibition.” Most of the following photographs from the 2018 exhibition are by Emiko Miyashita.
