I’m the new Redmond Poet Laureate

It was announced today that I’m the new poet laureate for the city of Redmond, Washington. I have a series of events planned for the year ahead, including a weekend poetry conference in April, quarterly readings to celebrate famous poets, monthly poetry-writing walks next summer, displays of a “poem of the week” at the city library and other locations, and more, starting with a reading at a Redmond art gallery on October 2.
