So, Why DO We Write Tanka?

Freshly added to the Tanka and Essays pages is “Why Do We Write Tanka?” It includes my introduction to seven essays from a panel discussion sponsored by the Tanka Society of America at its Tanka Sunday convention in October of 2015 in upstate New York, together with my own contribution in answer to the question, all just published in the journal Ribbons.
