First Frost

In 2021 I started coediting First Frost, a twice-yearly print journal. Each issue features just 44 haiku and senryu, in four thematic sections, each section starting and ending with a colour photograph. My coeditors are Eric Burke, Elizabeth McMunn-Tetangco, and Dale Wisely, and Dale handles all the layout, design, print production, and distribution, and also orchestrates the website. Together, in addition to selecting the poems, we select a “First Frost Award” winner, who also has ten poems featured online. I also created a video to showcase selected poems from the first issue.
