Two Collaborative Video Poems

I participated in creating the following two “exquisite corpse” video poems at Seattle’s Hugo House on 10 November 2024, in a group collaboration sponsored by Cadence Video Poetry. The first piece includes my video snippet, and the second piece includes my short poem. Consequently, my hand makes a cameo appearance from the 1:16 to 1:28 marks in the first video, and my poem, “what will become of / illegal immigrants / the ones who came here / for love?” (I think this was mine) appears from the 0:57 to 1:02 marks in the second video. These two films were shown at the Northwest Film Forum during the Cadence Video Poetry Festival held 24–27 April 2025.
