summer stars— 夏の星一

a red kayak vibrates 赤いカヤックが揺れる

atop a passing car 走りゆく車の上で

the skywriting drifts 空に描く文字一

hide and seek かくれんぼ

among the haystacks 大きな乾草唯のあいだで

environmental center— 環境センターで一

circular saw marks 丸鋸で削った跡が

on the wooden bench 木製のベンチに

snow flurries . . . 雪まじりの突風 . . .

the doctor’s pause 医師が一時休業

at malignant 不正に反対して

early morning walk— 早朝の散歩一

the cold sparrows bring to mind 冷えた雀が心に届ける

slanting sleet— 斜めに降るみぞれ一

tenses its chain 鎖を引っ張る

as old as the wind 私のなかでかさかさ音を立てる

that rustles through me 風と同じくらいむかしからある

election day— 投票日一

I plan the longest walk 私はいままでで最も長時間歩く

I can imagine 想像できる限り

a few swaying reeds . . . 数本の揺れる葦・・・

the muttering thunder 雷がごろごろ鳴るかと思えば

of overpass traffic 高架道を走る車の音

clouds in his attic— 屋根裏部屋の埃一

the way home 家に帰る道

forgotten again また忘れる
