Song to Be Sung
at the Start of Poetry Readings

The first four lines of the following are to be sung, very loosely, to the melody of the opening lyrics for “Black and White” by Three Dog Night. Somewhere I have a record of when I wrote this, and if I find it, I’ll add that scintillating information. And do let me know if you need me to sing this for you. Not previously published.
