Three Erasures
These three pieces are my first attempts at erasures, a sort of found poem whereby one “erases” most of an existing text to make a poem out of what remains. I created these at a workshop run by the Redmond Association of Spokenword on 23 January 2018 at VALA Art Center in Redmond, Washington. Previously unpublished.

pause to wonder
work to take in hand
wages enough to travel
watch and wait
run to see Yosemite
uncharm the place
in the usual manner
prize great wonder

I wonder
