The following poems appeared in “’ek-frə-səs,” an art and poetry installation at Victor’s Celtic Coffee in Redmond, Washington, during the month of September 2026. The poems were paired with black-and-white pinhole camera photographs by Margaret Zydek, presented as archival silver gelatin prints. The poems, selected by Zachary Burns, were in no particular order in the exhibit, but I’ve sequenced them here and added a title. These poems were previously published in Mariposa, Geppo, The Heron’s Nest, Hedgerow (United Kingdom), Geppo, and Mariposa from 2013 to 2023, and were originally written from 2008 to 2020.
