A Miscellany

New to the Poems by Others page, in the “Poems about Haiku” section, is David Young’s poem, “Bashō,” from his book Foraging (Wesleyan University Press, 1986), also reprinted in his collection of translations, Moon Woke Me Up Nine Times: Selected Haiku of Bashō (Knopf, 2013). My thoughts on Richard Gramlich’s Wanting the Mouth of a Lover, a chapbook of vampire haiku, are now on the Reviews page. And the Digressions page now reports that I’m apparently a Haiku Master. Really, it’s true, really it is, or so I’ve been told.
