Durian, Postscripts, and a $30,000 Typo

New to the Poems page is “Durian,” a previously unpublished ekphrastic poem of mine that was part of the “Double Vision” exhibit at Gallery One in Ellensburg, Washington in April of 2019 (a few exhibit photos included). I’ve also added an “Ekphrastic Poems” section to the Poems page. And at the “Buson or Shiki: The True Authorship of the ‘Two Autumns’ Poem” essay, available through the Essays page, look for a second new postscript. And on “Typos Happen,” available through the Digressions page, you’ll find a fifth new typo story—about a typo that cost $30,000. I’ve also restructured the Nothing page and have updated the Appearances page (alas, mostly cancellations, but not completely).
