Learning from Ezra Pound

A significant new addition to the Essays page is “A Few Don’ts by an Imagiste: Learning from Ezra Pound,” which is previously unpublished. It presents Pound’s seminal 1913 essay with numerous annotations that explain, expand, and sometimes take issue. These comments are all in the context of applying the essay to haiku poetry, which of course influenced the essay in the first place. I also link to this new addition from my annotated response to Lorraine Ellis Harr’s “Isn’ts of Haiku,” which resembles it. Meanwhile, I’ve also added several new links to the Further Reading and Interviews page.
