Poems and Quotes

A few new additions to this website today include a clever palindrome haiku by Alice Lam in the “Poems About Haiku” section of the Poems by Others page, which also newly sports “Adam’s Curse” by W. B. Yeats. I’ve also added three new quotations by Yeats, Wesley McNair, and Brené Brown at the end of the On Haiku page, accessible from the Quotations page. I love the Yeats quotation, applicable to haiku just as much as to any other kind of poetry:

A line will take us hours maybe;
Yet if it does not seem a moment’s thought,
Our stitching and unstitching has been naught.
