In quick but successful succession to her recent books, a cappella and come at nine come at nine, anne mckay’s curve into curve offers a bouquet of new haiku roses. These are voice poems, stretching the edges of haiku, but often imagistic and delightful nonetheless, and frequently arresting. One rose—the title poem:
