Vancouver Haiku Stone
In 2006, I was my pleasure and privilege to serve as a cojudge for the Haiku Invitational awards for the inaugural Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival held in Vancouver, British Columbia. I served as cojudge for 2006, 2007, and 2008, took a break for 2009, and then served as the sole judge in 2010. Winners from the first three years were carved onto a haiku stone installed at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver. Here are some selected photos of the stone. For a complete album of photographs showing close-ups of each poem and other views of the stone, please visit my Vancouver Haiku Stone photo album on Google Photos. See also “Cherry Petal Mats.” + +
